There are three kinds of eagles living near Lake Hubert. The Bald Eagle, the Osprey (fish eagle) and the Golden Eagle. All three of these nest on or near Lake Hubert.

Wingspan 4.2 ft. to 6 ft.

Wingspan 6 ft to 6.5 ft.

Wingspan 6-1/2 to 7-1/2 feet

 

The immature Bald Eagle and Golden Eagle are MUCH harder to distinguish. Their plumages vary widely and change as they mature so the photos below are only an approximation of what you might see.
